| Female Brown-headed Cowbird on No Hunting sign June 20, 2012 |
This week I managed to get a photograph of a female Brown-headed Cowbird perched on a No Hunting sign. I thought the sign looked familiar. Sure enough, when I got home I realized it was the same sign on which a Rough-legged Hawk was perched last winter. I love birds on No Hunting signs! I think it is their platform for making a political statement. Some day I will feature all the different birds I have photographed on No Hunting signs.
